On October 10th, 2024, England Injury Law celebrated its one-year anniversary by hosting a special Wine & Whiskey Tasting fundraiser in support of the American Cancer Society’s Men Wear Pink Campaign.
The event, held at our office, welcomed over 40 guests who gathered to commemorate the firm’s milestone while raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support programs. Thanks to the generosity of the attendees and sponsors, the celebration was a resounding success, raising over $4,000 for the cause, making it a night of both reflection and impact.
A Cause Close to Zack England’s Heart
For Zack England, lead attorney at England Injury Law, the fight against breast cancer is personal. As an active participant in the Men Wear Pink of Chattanooga campaign, Zack accepted this challenge for a very special reason: to honor his aunt, Lisa Reed, who was diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago and continues to fight the disease.
“I accepted the challenge for Men Wear Pink specifically in support of my aunt, Lisa Reed,” Zack shared. “When my aunt called to tell me the news, I told her I couldn’t think of a more resilient person to overcome the diagnosis than her. I’m hopeful my team’s effort and drive can resemble my Aunt Lisa’s fight.”
An Evening of Fine Tastes and Generosity
Guests at the Wine & Whiskey Tasting were treated to a variety of handpicked wines and whiskeys, creating a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere for attendees to mingle and enjoy, while making a difference with the funds raised during this event.
In addition to the tasting, a silent auction added to the excitement. We were proud to offer some fantastic prizes, including:
- A Lake House weekend getaway
- A one-night stay at the Edwin Hotel in downtown Chattanooga
- A custom-made wooden porch bed swing
- A stunning jewelry package donated by Chattanooga’s own Kennedy Jewelers
These items helped boost donations and provided a fun, competitive edge to the evening as guests bid on their favorite packages, all in support of breast cancer research.
A Community United for a Cure
The success of this event would not have been possible without the support of our community.
A special thank you goes out to local businesses, Kennedy Jewelers, Chattanooga Whiskey, Athens Distributing, Knox Liquors, Cherokee Distributing Company, Chatty Chicks, Kornas Creations, and the Edwin Hotel, who donated products to make this evening complete.
The outpouring of generosity is a testament to how deeply Chattanooga cares about giving back and standing up for those affected by breast cancer.
England Injury Law is incredibly proud to have hosted such an event and to be a part of the Men Wear Pink of Chattanooga campaign. Together with our community, we are committed to continuing the fight against breast cancer, supporting those battling the disease, and helping fund the research necessary to one day find a cure.
If you missed this year’s fundraiser, there’s still time to support the cause. Visit Zack England’s personal Men Wear Pink page to give any amount, every donation large or small, makes a difference.
